Disney strategy has been to build off franchises, because they know a marvel film will do well. But that makes it less nimble than a place like net flick, who takes risks on totally new content. Squid game surprise hit tevy sho o, i don't know f you agree with this, but one of the things that people have been talking about when they compare net flicks and disney is they point to squid game. Disney's also starting to come up against hollywood. When creatives like actors and directors work with net flicks, they know they're going straight to video. But when they work with disney, they often looking for a box office hit.
