Joseph's Dilemma of the High Priesthood
In 1831, Lucy Mac Smith writes a letter to her brother to discuss all of the beginnings of the new church. There's still no real discussion or knowledge of these these issues even within his own family. And then in 1832, so now we're a couple months later, in January, Sidney Rigdon ordains Joseph as the president of the High Priesthood in Ohio. So within just a few months of being challenged in Missouri, Joseph Smith has now created this new presidency,. We're told this is the restoration of the way things were in ancient times.
