The News Is In, John, They're Not Fossilized Worm Tubes, Probably
A Curiosity rover spotted some weird structures on the surface of sedimentary rocks. They looked like what might happen if a worm or something crawled through some some dirt and left a tube behind. That would have been some kind of fossilized worm tube, basically. And we see things like this on earth, tha, that you find these sort of, a, holes left by invertebrates getting fossilized. But they're not fossilized worm tubes, probably. I was hoping for huge mars worms.
