The Response of Flobare to Class
Sartre gives us a way of understanding sartre's illness which too many has just seemed to be straightforwardly epilepsy. Flobare feels as though he cannot act in response to the identity that's imposed upon him by his family. flobare writes that he experiences his reality as an oppressed woman and this is really complex because sartre also believes and i think he's right here that flobare has internalized the misogyny.
