The Role of Collagen in Strengthening Tendons

Maintaining and strengthening these connective tissues is paramount for a serious hard training climber. The extracellular matrix that runs through the muscle are comprised mostly of collagen, which accounts for about 30% of all proteins in the human body tendons. An injury to a tendon or ligament that is completely healthy is remarkably rare usually there's an underlying disorganization or some subclinical degradation you know pathology that leads up to it.
