Is It Possible to Build More Centralized or Less Centralized Nervous Systems?

A, in the case of the octopus, i think we've learnt it's not that they're utterly and radically decentralized. There's a lot of cohesion mixed with some surprising absences of cohesion. It's very much a mixed story. And i don't think we yet know enough about the balance or the relationship between the moreo hesive and the less cohesive sides of that case to know what to build on the artificial side.
