Aging has become such a point of interest, which I think is just proof of just how decadent things have become that we're all trying to live. Not every decline we see as a result of aging is caused by insulin resistance. As the muscle has become more insulin resistant, muscle cannot defend the muscle protein. And now we have proteolysis or this protein catabolism.
