I was diagnosed much later with bipolar when I was in my 30s and then they prescribed lithium. That was the, they were one-day drug and it did work. It's kind of an episode that suddenly blows up. You don't actually feel bad at all for ages. There went a lot of problems. The hospital staff didn't want to know what had caused these episodes. As well as having a miscarriage before she had her two daughters - also swept under the carpet.
