Is Optogenetics the Next Big Advance in Neuroimaging?

Some of the fundamental hardware tools haven't changed that much. optogenetics is great except it's not really something we can use in living humans. It's a great technique for studying circuits at the very detailed level in animal models. But yeah, I think with imaging what's really changed is the sort of informatics and data science aspects of, you know, what's come over from other fields basically.
