The Relationship Between Training Frequency and Volume

You can't train hard every day but you need to use both duration and intensity. Over a fairly large range frequency matters and volume matters that the more frequency and more training volume is associated with a greater adaptive response now it is not linear and it is not forever I think there's a law of diminishing return for endurance athletes 19 years old who are already at their highest VO to max, they're not at their most competitive because those processes seem to take longer. There's a time dependent process here but you've got to stay healthy and you'veGot to stay motivated and you'vegot to be able to do the work"
