Is There a Recession in the Economy?

You don't even have to look at it in terms of getting back to deflation, I just think we're going back to a lower growth environment. And if you think about a low growth environment, that implies that you don't have a secular economic tailwind to be able to produce top and bottom line results. Most companies were not doing a great job of that prior to the pandemic because they were really focused just on financial engineering. It does imply that inflation will ease and that the opportunities for more nuanced potential in on a company by company basis becomes more important.
