The Fed Is Raising Rates Now So That They Can't Lower Rates Inture?
My theory is the fet is raising rates now so that they can lower them in ture. What's the point of doing that if they're not going to solve any problems? It's kind of a bandit on a gusher of a cutter. Which is why i think the fet's first priority is to, frankly, cover its back side. So it needs to get rates to two and a half %, which will be in september. Now at that point i think the fed should pause. And politically, the fed will be able to pause, especially if it can start to see the inflation numbers in different parts of the economy improving.
