The Golden State Killer

A community meeting was held to discuss the Golden State Killer. At one point, a man stood up and started criticizing law enforcement. He then turned his fury on the husbands of victims who he said didn't protect their loved ones. The local populace shouted him down before forbidding him from contributing again. A few months later, an assault very similar to that of the Golden State killer occurs in the exact same community. And the victim is the wife of the guy who'd insulted the husbands of the victims. Now, I'm not much of a believer in coincidences. If you ask me, someone had deliberately targeted him as a result of what he'd said during the community meeting.
