The whole is the sum of its parts, but it's not a replica of one of its parts. John McGovern looked as always running as though he had a piece of cardboard down his back a night and like Mickey Burns, who would get no teeth and kick you to the backside. And yet, despite all this, they were the best team in the country and want to European cups. If you were picking a fantasy tea as an individual, maybe just maybe you wouldn't pick John McGovern or John or hair or John Robert Sunu. I think he liked to pipe in a pie.
