What Role Do Parents Play in Developing Meaning Types?

In your book, you make a distinction between meaning types and stability types. What role do parents play in whether these people become either or both? And what role does culture play? My sister graduated from Berkeley with a 3.97. Finished med school was the chief anesthesiology resident at Yale. They got a finished fellowship at UCLA. She just had a baby and he's really cute. But there are days when I think to myself, wow, am I going to get to do all this with my parents? Are they even going to be around by the time I get to experience any of this?
