gRPC for Open APIs

I've seen a lot of tooling type companies move toward gRPC for various reasons but I don't know that I see a groundswell with clients actually offering gRPC based APIs. We're seeing a little bit of of GraphQL although I think GraphQL is still more of a sort of full stack developer world where you want to use it. GRPC has an affinity with Kubernetes which is a pretty broad community of implementers so anyone sort of in that CNCF ecosystem will naturally be aligned with gRPC and saying okay well we need you know this is kind of the native protocol for a lot of what's going on inKubernetes
