i think it is reasonable to treat the bible as literature. It's more than literature, but you can treat it as literature. The characters are all complex,. including the character of god himself, is complex and sophisticated. But i think good literature is like that. Cause, you know, true art hears something about true art. This is something i learnd from young it's so smart. And they're just propagandists. They have to be contending with their myth if they want people to understand what they do. I don't remember which painting was worth a billion dollars at the museum of modern art in new york. You know who knows? Maybe  I'm afraid...
