The Value of Freshness

LZ Granderson: I've known you for a long time. You're an unusually prolific and rich rem dreamer. And it's one of the few places where you actually have freedom from the machine. It does allow us to set aside our normal ego and normal intentions, but we don't have to get anything out of it. LZ: The more I think about meditation, this context, the more I think we're missing something really profound by our attempt to instrumentalize these altered states so quickly.
