The Paradox of Slowing Down

For young kids, like kids that are three or four or five, one example of a post is just straightforward physical injury. An example for something more like social or adult life would be accidentally saying the wrong thing in front of your boss and coworker. And then you only find out later that you've been written up formally. Like you didn't know it wasn't okay to make that joke. Right? So in both of those cases, it sounds like we're ties in with the metaphor is that not only is there danger, but you don't necessarily trust your own judgment of assessing that danger. Those are two big categories that I've been able to tease out so far.
