The Importance of Stereo Atmosphere Mics in Football
In a football match what we do nowadays is to have a stereo atmosphere mic and then twelve mics around the pitch. People may be unaware of what I'm trying to achieve but if you've got a bunch of people sitting at home going gosh it wasn't that a terrific match. It's anticipating where the ball is going to go. What you hear now is a game from the Athens Olympics in 2004. We're using London for the 2012 football events.
