The Border Dynamics of the National Parks in Argentina
I was trying to understand how these parks were created as spaces of nature protection on the ground, what kind of spatial practices were necessary. So I follow the national park rangers as they travel through the outback of these parks and try and control them. And eventually I end up also using some images that were produced by this spy satellite program by the U.S. called Corona in the 1960s to see how the landscape of the park looked like in the 60s. That allowed me to look at this borderland from above, look at thisborderland as a whole in a different scale than usually my written sources didn't allow me to do it.
