Nietzsche associates resentment with a yearning for revenge, right? So Nietzsche says that slave morality and Christianity emerged out of this desire for revenge on the part of the slaves against the ruling classes. And it's also why doctrines like socialism, liberalism and democracy can have such a grip on the imagination,. Even though the ruling classes themselves who are all too willing to seed a lot of the moral high ground to the left.
