The global flood data base is 913 flood maps from the modus censor on the aquan terra satellite. We took every image between the start and the enddate of a flood that had been recorded by bob breckinridge at the dartmouth flood observatory over the past 20 years, and mapped water in every image. And because population changes over time, we could then also see how many people were living in this visible, inundated area in the year two thousand and the year 20 15. The globo flood de de bas really simply is nearly a thousand flood maps and the number of people that have moved in and out of those places around the world overtime.
