The 14th Amendment and the Constitution
At its base the 14th Amendment deals with due process rights and equal protection. It was ratified in 1868 but it took the Supreme Court over half a century to actually start enforcing it. We're just going to discuss a sampling of cases because so many cases are decided using multiple legal precedents. This episode would literally be like three hours long if we covered everything.
