The Cost of Being a CTO of a Growing Team

As a CTO of a growing team, I'm going to assume it's growing because the questionnaire said it was a startup. You should be involved just enough technically to stay connected with the team so you don't lose sight of what they're doing and how they're working. It's really easy to get in their way and not even realize you've gotten in the way. And that may be what's happening here. In which case, it's probably time to confront your CTO about expectation of role.
