The Sarajevo Haggadah
There's no historical record of the Sarajevo Haggadah until 1894 when it was acquired by the Bosnian National Museum. This is a manuscript that only appeared in the late 19th century, but that we know goes back to pre-inquisition Spain. We can tell it was actually used for Sederdinner and has wine stains on it. So don't throw away your cookbook that got burned on the stove burner or your copy of Catch-22 that has all of your college underlining in it. That's what history wants. Because 900 years later, somebody's like, it was in Ken Jennings' hands.
