There is no doubt that the Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam saw or he treated Ali al-Iliyidaw the Allahu Anhu more like a brother than he did a son. So even though there are 30 years between him and his wife Fatima it doesn't seem to be a contradiction right? We'll actually see that next week in one of the authentic narrations where the Prophet SallAllahu mentions that in the capacity of the marriage to Fatima.
