What's Narrow Casting Misinformation?

Narrow casting is an advertising term actually, but it can be used in this context too. It just means targeting a specific demographic using their information that's been gleaned from previous behavior and some known facts to craft an ad that you're more likely to click. In Travis's case, his guess would be he doesn't give advertisers much information to go on. So they know where he is. They know he's a he and they know how old he is. so they're just kind of shooting, shooting darts in the dark here.
