I do not think that we have enough data at the moment to convincingly say that you stand to get the same degree or magnitude of benefits from ala supplementation. That relies on an assumption that by taking that a la, your body will very efficiently convert it into one of these other forms like EPA and DHA. I am unconvinced that that is a thing that we can rely on that will happen or that we will see the same magnitude of benefit from from a la supplementation.
