The Importance of Sensationalism in History

Sensationalist rubbish gets included in stories about Vlad the Impaler because it's morbidly interesting. The challenge is sifting through what is true and what has been embellished, as I've said. We know that there's elements of truth to this because all of the pamphlets and publications share important key consistencies. But you cannot sacrifice the truth when you're talking about history.
