The Politics of Neoliberalism
I think if you're talking about long-term thinking, I mean, you have to be hostile to what neoliberalism has become. The way that capitalism absolutely refuses to think beyond the next financial year or the next economic cycle. And it's commodification of everything, including our natural resources, including culture into commodities to be bought and sold or disregarded because there's no money to be made from them. It seems to me that that is a pretty malignant force against the kind of worldview that you'retalking about.
