How Do You Average Inflation Back Down to Two %?
Nobody is calling anybody out on the hypocrisy of this. The fed initially told us that the reason they needed two % inflation was to make sure there was enough distance between the inflation rate and zero. I pointed out it was nonsense to say we have to pay some kind of penalty.
