The Seventh Variation of Mozart's Concerto in C Minor

The seventh variation is a reprise of the opening theme back in C minor. After the tautness of the first movement and the simplicity of the second, this theme is another breath of fresh air. Mozart only wrote two piano concerti in a minor key. His other minor key, Concerto the D minor, has a relatively controversial ending. There is also a debate about the ending of the great opera Don Giovanni.
