The Unnerving Silhouettes in the Hotel
There's a couple of things I want to point out to that end where I think this director understands it's an it's a little bit of a Kubrick building the hotel for the shining sort of mentality. The repeated use of shadows, first of all, the silhouettes is creepy. And they do that a lot in this film. There's also just the pacing of the scares themselves. Like I would love to deconstruct them versus like James Wan, who, you know, obviously very successful director. But those movies tend to do like and that's not James Wan for the record. That's Patrick Wilson. This does a good job with. Mike Flanagan honestly I think is very good
