How to Be a Successful Programmer

I think it's amazing how much of a programmer you are right now. I wonder how many code newbies are like fully fledged programmers but they're like I just have no idea what I'm doing. They should take some advice from my commenters. You know everything that there is to know about programming. And if you were learning something more for yourself and not as a journalist would you follow the same step or would you do something differently? Yeah I would have to have a project or else why even do anything. I could just watch TV. Have other people said that? No I said it. That was a joke.
