The KMT internally the party itself doesn't trust Ho and that has a lot to do with historically the elites that kind of run the party. Almost all poll or sorry basically every poll I'm not even it's unambiguous as shown that Ho is the most popular politician in the country. He'd be fairly well embraced but there's a second thing to keep an eye on well almost all poll  looks directly at who you think would be most appropriate to be the next president which is a very different question than whether or not they like the candidate.
