The Role of Social Interactions in Babbling Behavior

Babbling is also a clear, really phenotypic readout of vocal learning taking place in a mammalian brain at that very moment right now. That opens the door for neuro-epological studies where you look at neural gene expression patterns in the brain while vocal learning takes place. You know, this vocal learning can really, in the long run, in certain species, maybe influence speciation processes. So I've been working with that song for my entire life and that greater sacrum has always fascinated me.
