There is a spectrum, the intimacy with which we experience our bodies. On one extreme is this view that Plato had, that Christianity had: basically the body is a source of endless trouble for us. Even if you are being positive, you are still alienated from yourself on that spectrum. I think what you're saying is important in terms of it annoys me when people say your body's good. That's just like saying my body's bad.
