Are We Any Better at Defining Mental Disorders?
In the early 20 first century, psychiatry decided this old system of diagnosis by symptoms was a mistake. So they set up a task force to re design the diagnostic system. I was supposed to be based in the underlying pathology of scisophrenia or by polar disorder. The problem was they didn't, and still don't know the pathology of those diseases. They have hints, but they don't have the knowledge.
