ESRD patients don't have that prolonged non-anne I-Gap metabolic acidosis after the resolution of DKA, right? Yeah, no, they won't have that. They'll just, it's like a seizure. You got an anne gap? Your anne gap goes away. Okay, so the neck mass is supposed to be triggered by the loss of those anneyls in DKA. So you give all this fluid and you lose them. Once they go down the toilet, they're gone. You've lost a source of bicarb. And maybe we shouldn't be doing that that much.
