The Probability Calculus and Real Randomness

Last week, we said that nothing in reality strictly obeyed the probability calculus. But if we take the idealization seriously for a moment as a mathematical object, then we can use the probability calculus to model such an object like a game. In our universe, they're made of atoms that obey quantum theory, not probability theory. We can simulate all of this using a computer but it's important to keep in mind that virtual ideal coins and dice do not exist in our universe.
