How to Infer a JSON Schema From Data

I think part of the explanation for how microservices as a concept got popular is, I've been wondering this. Why are people so quick to do that? Like that's a huge downside. And I have a theory, but I'm curious what you think. The first is I don't think people actually appreciate types that much. But if you look at what's popular, types did not become popular until type inference became really, really good. If you don't control the environment and live in constant interaction with it, you cannot do top-down programming. So I think there's a logical reasons why this is happening.
