Doing Nothing at 40% of FTP

Time spent recovering actively spinning lightly at say 40% of FTP allows continuation of training at low intensity. This is yet another effort to maximize the signal to attain the most training stimulus from the least amount of time. Even psychologically speaking, like doing a hard effort and then just not doing anything, then going back into doing the hard effort. That could just be how my weird brain works.
