How Did You Get to Japan?
In Japan, people are more reserved in their opinions. They're very polite at the risk of causing confusion. I set the tone for the next three years of teaching, but I realised I had to speak a bit slower and unsee it. That was one thing. But if that was the UK right off the bat, they might have just said, sorry, can you speak a little slower? We don't know what you're saying. It makes sense. Yeah, it's obviously a lot more complicated than saying software and hardware, but it's interesting.
