In two thousand 13, to wind the clock back just a little further, i i wasn't teaching in the class room for the first time in a few years. I wanted some kind of connection to am y, the practice of philosophy. And so i set up a speaker series at the brooklyn public library,. which is still running, still doing well, i think. People have all sorts of concerns. They're people are as you might expect, walking around with sort of ethical questions about, you know, the difficult decisions that they're facing in their own lives.
