The film really wants you to be creeped out by Buddha statues. The presence of Vietnamese people in the movie is purely a threat, which is horrible. Rambo understands that he's not smart enough to get on the BTS date with Socke. There's like this one scene where Rambo kills a snake just to prove how bad that's he is.
