What's Going to Happen to Main Street and Wall Street?
The Fed, it's run by economists who are looking at what is this going to do to Main Street and Wall Street. Now, there's been a very large run-up in mortgage rates and in borrowing costs for the rest of the economy. And even if those costs have come down, they're still much, much higher than they were six months ago or a year ago. So that takes its time to feed through. You could even argue there's the potential that the lag is going to be longer than usual.
