The Pericopy of Mark and Luke
A guy named Barr went to all the trouble of mapping out, I mean, a very scientific way, the exact length of each of the gospel's. He isolated each pericopy in Mark, for example, and colored pink, all the stuff that is shared between Mark and either or and or Matthew and Luke. So what do you see there? The green stuff is only in Mark. White is Matthew alone. Yellow is Luke alone. This is obviously overlapping showing you Mark in Matthew and then all the good stuff. It's fantastic.
