The Future of Jobs Is in Automation

I completely agree with you that jobs are created through automation. Your jobs eliminated, but jobs are created while there are not armies of lamp lighters or knocker uppers and buggy whip horse salesman wandering around jobless. There was a period where there was an adjustment. I think part of the reason that that didn't short circuit society was because it never affected the people actually running society. And if you were to automate, let's say, half of attorneys in the US over the next 15 years, that'd be a big deal. If you had a lot of white collar jobs, go away. I think that it would create a lot of tumult.
