Silence in Modeling
Students will have empty hands watching me no notes i'll be gesturing i'll be pausing. Every time i pause or do a signal it's their cue to ask themselves what's he just done and so on. At the end of that silent modeling i'll give them an opportunity very similar to what you've talked about before to reflect themselves make some notes discuss with their partner perhaps in silence. If students are trying to read something whilst also trying to then listen to something it very much the same process this is was very visual model.
